This is a unique and great seminar in the sense that participants will learn two pedagogical approaches through the guidance of experts with vast experience in their fields of expertise .Wonderful learning experience for those who want to make teaching and learning more meaningful and effectively infusing HOT into their content instructions.The fact is that HOT skills cannot be effectively developed among learners simply through HOT questions .We believe that pedagogy must be aligned with assessment.The lack of knowledge in pedagogy especially in making thinking visible both to the learners and teachers/lecturers has been cited as the main problem that hinders the development of HOT skills among learners.The two pegadogical approaches will certainly help teachers/lecturers to view pedagogy in a broader perspectives to effectively develop and infuse HOT skills among learners.
