CERTIFICATION SAILS Aleta just finished a training certification sail which Ken praised…Keith Brown, past owner of Aleta came to share his expertise and they played with a smaller jib. Travis is putting on one of his famous certification sails on Bear, always popular, on AUGUST 2, 10-5. Go to Volunteer Spot to get on board or e mail Travis. These are one of our most popular events with the captains and crew putting themselves and the boat through their paces since no students on board. With BEAR getting Radar, David, who is our safety officer, wants to establish training and method protocol for use of radar on Golden Bear and Benjamin Walters as well as protocol. Further, methods and protocol for sailing in fog will be developed. David will present his recommendations at the next meeting.
