^CG The real estate market needs homes to sell! We are still seeing a historical shortage of available listings. People took it easy over the holidays and several winters spells which caused a slower start to the spring selling season compared to last year but, now we have more homes under contract and more closings year to date. The market is picking up quickly and we are seeing multiple offers and 0-5 days to get under contract. Just ask my clients. Did you know the metro area average home sale price is up $65k from 2011? If you thought you could sell at any time in the past now may be the time to make the move. Interest rates are still well below historical average, even below 5%.
