CGE AUCTION NEWS Weve had a few people email us looking for info about the auction. The auction will take place on SATURDAY NIGHT right after the show closes at 6pm. It will be held in the same room as the keynote speeches are given throughout the day. We will accept item submissions for about an hour leading up to the auction. If the number of submissions is especially high, the submission time may be extended. The auction itself will begin at approximately 7pm and will last until, well, until its over. :) We ask that you limit the items that you bring to be auctioned to items that are cool and/or interesting. Most of the people who attend the CGE auction are fairly seasoned collectors so we would prefer not to waste anyones time with common items. They wont sell. On the other side of that coin, dont be afraid to bring valuable items to the auction. The bidders at the CGE auction are traditionally very savvy and if you have something rare at a reasonable price, you may find a buyer there. We will also have the ability to accept credit card payments via PayPal credit card swiper. We will accept the payment on your behalf and forward the money to your PayPal account. The PayPal fee for processing credit cards will be passed-along to the seller. As always, we will ask sellers to make a voluntary donation to the charity beneficiary which is the Videogame History Museum this year. We would also like to ask that if you have something cool you dont mind auctioning off as a benefit to the museum, please bring it along. We would very much appreciate the support!
