CHANGE ALL YOUR PASSWORDS ON EVERY SITE: Despite what youve been - TopicsExpress

CHANGE ALL YOUR PASSWORDS ON EVERY SITE: Despite what youve been told, for the last two years, SSL has not been secure. Researchers have discovered a security flaw nick named Heart Bleed which could essentially allow attackers to gain access to usernames, passwords, credit cards, email, e-commerce transactions, social networking posts and other Web traffic including VPNs, LogMeIn, HIPAA sensitive data, etc. I would recommend changing your passwords on every site regularly until the OpenSSL Fix is distributed to the masses. I would also insist that your bank, doctor, dentist, and any other company that uses software or e-mail that uses SSL to advise you of how they have addressed this issue as every person has been compromised with this security flaw.
