CHAPUNGU FACES DEMBARE IN HRE THIS SUNDAY Chapungu, as reported on Nhasi muGweru last week, have been awarded three points on a 3-0 score-line from their abandoned match against Chiredzi which failed to take place last month after the Lowveld side arrived late without licences and team jerseys. The match was supposed to be played at Ascot Stadium in Gweru. The three points move Chapungu to 32 points and 10th place, on better goal difference than How Mine who have the same number of points. Chiredzi are reeling from lack of finances and the latest disciplinary action comes hot on the heels of a fine imposed on coach Gishon Ntini for bringing the game of football into disrepute following comments he made before a match against Caps United in August. Ntini was fined $1,250 and the fine will be doubled within 14 days if the club does not take action on the coach. This Friday, Chiredzi are in Bulawayo for a date against How Mine at Hartsfield. FIXTURES Friday: How Mine v Chiredzi (Hartsfield) Saturday: Bantu Rovers v Shabanie (Hartsfield), Black Rhinos v Hwange (Rimuka 1500hrs SS), FC Platinum v ZPC Kariba (Mandava) Sunday: Buffaloes v Harare City (Sakubva), Triangle v Caps United (Gibbo), Dynamos v Chapungu (Rufaro 1500hrs, SS), Dynamos v Chapungu (Rufaro), Highlanders v Chicken Inn (Hartsfield)
