CHASING TELESIA Round 24 The day of Kalebs birthday came around. Sia had purchased a new summer dress knowing the summer nights were like being in a oven. When she rocked up everyone was already out the back having a few drinks. August and Logan were Manning the Bbq while Kaleb and Genero were placing more ice in the eskiz to keep the drinks cold. A few people were already on the buzz. One of Kalebs cousins who was here from samoa for a holiday was in charge of the music. He was dancing next to the boombox in that typical island way with his fob jams. Sia contemplated going back home before anyone noticed her. She watched Logan at the Bbq laughing at whatever August was saying to him. Sia gave herself a quick peptalk,she was here to celebrate Kalebs birthday. Stop being a coward. clothing herself with strength she wasnt feeling. Taking a deep breath,she made her presence known. She caught Generos eyes,He winked at her letting her see he was happy she decided to show up. Sia felt the stares from the others and ignored it. Kaleb looked up and spotted her. They made their way to the drinks when Francine intercepted. Francine-hey Sia. Im glad to see you. Sia-im glad to see you aswell. Francine looked uncomfortable. She seemed at a loss for words that sia took pity on her. She reached for her hand with a smile. Sia-have a drink with me? Francine sent sia a grateful smile. Nodding her head she followed Sia to the drinks. Kaleb stood back with a smile as he watched on. Any whispers about Sia being booted as maid of honor soon ceased when onlookers saw it was clear the cousins were still on good terms. The night was filled with laughter and drunken antics. Sia had already had a few too many drinks. She was on such a happy buzz laughing at one of Generos stories of a girl he met. Sia felt it was the first time she felt carefree. She glanced a few times at Logan and caught him staring at her. She quickly turned away only to catch Genero watching them closely. August used that moment to make a toast to the birthday boy who was buzzing aswell but seemed happy to sit back and watch everyone else enjoy themselves. August mentioned the boys discussed a promise they made years ago that by the time they turned 28 that if they werent married. They get to hire a stripper to give them a lapdance. Kaleb walked slowly to the centre towards the chair august had placed there. The music began playing V.I.P. Sia nearly lost her nerve but there was something in Kalebs eyes that had her feet moving foward. She didnt want to think of what the others must be thinking. She was tired of trying to stay okay just to please others. Her mind was just on the one person who remained constant in her life. She felt like it was just the two of them there. She knew she never wouldve had the balls to act this way if she was sober. And if she regretted her actions in the morning,than she was going to make sure it was a beautiful mistake. Kalebs expression was priceless watching Sia sway her hips as she made her way to him. He saw in her eyes she was drunk but there was something else that Kaleb didnt want to think too deeply on. She pulled the pins out of her hair,letting her soft waves fall around her shoulders. Kaleb couldnt take his eyes off her. She was like a siren. She slowly cradled his lap looking deep in his eyes. Kaleb whispered her name. Kaleb-Do you understand what youre doing? Sia-yes. The lapdance was so erotic that kaleb thought he was going to burst. He nearly forgot they werent alone.
