CHECK THIS OUT 4 things that happened last week that convinced me that the world has gone MAD #4. The number of people around the world who was willing to (and did) stand in line for weeks at a time for something (I -PHONE 6) that will become obsolete as soon as the new i-phone is introduced -in 6 months. #3 The crazy baseball fans of the New York Yankees who is willing to pay up to $250,000 to see Derek Jeter, (an old player with diminished skills) play in his last game. This when there are so many hungry and homeless people in the world ---not to mention a badly needed cure for cancer, aids and ebola, to name a few. #2 The amount of parents who were arrested for disciplining their children when the good book says explicitly Spare the rod, spoil the child. #1 The grandfather in Gainsville, Fl who took a gun an eliminated his 6 grand children and their mother (his daughter) before taking his own life. In my day grand-fathers didnt committ such atrocities. They bought you cracker-jacks and let you sit on their knees ---Pemmy Bain or made you all kinds of concoctions like sweet condensed milk and strawberry soda and took you to church - Harold Francis. I am convinced that if Christ doesnt come soon there will be no sanity (or sane persons) left.
