CHEMICAL CHANGES – When Children Came Along- Years ago when I knew a baby was coming along, I wanted to eliminate as many chemicals in the house as possible, especially the ones that they may get into… I found that some items had several uses were super safe. Take a huge can of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and its cost. When you take a sponge and scrub your show basin, it removes soap scum very well. Rinse with mild soap after all the buildup is removed. It cleans and polishes metal just awesome and shiny. Great for counter tops that have a shiny finish and protects it so sticky things don’t stick to the surface. It makes a great Butcher Block table polisher and cleanser. No harmful fumes. For food- Same stuff great for salad dressings, low heat cooking, blending to make some great salsa dips, great for bread dip with some spice peppers and grated cheese if that’s what you use, great for a skin moisturizer right out of the shower, great for putting on your face as a substitute for petroleum jelly or mineral oil (the stuff from oil rigs- they just make it white to sell it), and if the kids lick the surfaces, they get healthier!
