CHILDREN’S BREAD & CHILDREN’S CRUMBS The woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation; and she besought him that he would cast forth the devil out of her daughter. But Jesus said unto her, “Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take THE CHILDREN’S BREAD, and to cast it unto the dogs.” And she answered and said unto him, “Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of THE CHILDREN’S CRUMBS.” And he said unto her, “For this saying, go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter.” (Mark 7:26-29) * PROPHETIC BITES by Moses Hightower These words came unto me, The light of my countenance is shining upon you. The light of my glory has rested upon your heart to purify it by faith that is in me. The light of my mercy has illuminated the things of the past and caused their dark memories to be as dust and to be blown away by the wind of my grace. The light of my love has been shed abroad in your heart and created new chambers of understanding and provision. Behold the new you. I have created you in righteousness and true holiness. Allow the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth to become your meal today, and you will find regions beyond doubt and fear. * CONFESSIONS OF SOUND MIND by LWWC Confession Writers The light of Gods countenance is shining upon me. His name meant that the Lord has made him to forget all his toil in his fathers house. We are held captive many times by the memories of the past. How well does God forget? Just as well as he remembers. If God can clean out our file, then he can cause us to forget the past. As Paul encourages us to forget the things that are behind and reach for the things ahead.
