CHILI SUNDAY RAISES $747...HALLELUJAH! :) Despite the nasty road conditions yesterday morning, we had a fantastic Chili Sunday, with widely diverse yet consistently delicious offerings. A good time was had by all, and we exceeded our financial goal of raising enough to continue sponsoring 7-year-old Wondimu Aseffa for the coming year. (Wondimu is our Compassion International buddy in Ethiopia.) HUGE THANKS to all our chili chefs, the Board of Membership & Events, our youth group members who served as servers/scoopers, and everyone who turned out for this great event!
