CHINA A GREAT THREAT TO INDIAN In a rapidly changing world, it is rather impossible to define exactly the foreign policy of a country. Infact, foreign policy is not something stable. On the contrary, it is something that changes with the changing scenario in the world. In other words, we can say that foreign policy of a nation is an ever changing and evolutionary process. The code knows as a “Panch-sheel” comprises (a) Mutual respect for each other’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, (b) Non- aggression, (c) Non- interference in each other’s internal affairs, (d) Equality and mutual benefit, and(e) Peaceful co-existence. All above principles turned grave threat for Indian nation. The China had not maintained diplomatic relations with Indian nation. The relations stand failed on several occasions. There is conflict between China and India. Peace and good will is no where water bomb is emerging as a new possible irritant between china and India, Chinese move to approve construction of three more dams. On Brahmaputra river in Tibet, in addition to the one being built without informing New Delhi is serious threat and vilation. Water also the poteintial to become a divisive issue in India’s bilateral relation with China. New Delhi is concerned about the ecological impact on India of Chinese plans to divert the river of Tibet for irrigation purposes in China. With China controlling the Tibetan Plateau, the sources of Asia’s major rivers, the potential for conflict over increasingly scare water resources remains concern. Indian leaders lack of foresight on China. India is interested in establishing cordial ties with its increasingly powerful neighbor, but it remains Wary of China’s intentions in south Asia and its slow pace in resolving China- India border Despite improvement in trade and economic ties and each country harbors deep mistrust and suspicion towards the others strategic intention. China illegally occupied over 14000 square miles territory on the northern border in Kashmir. As far as the recent cases of intrusion is concerned is of serious nature and a great threat to India. China will never resolve the border dispute amicably. The war with India in 1962 is not forgatable China is also not serious for combating International Terrorism. Tibet dispute never allow China to go on negotiating table. Solution to problem is only friend-ship. China is very greedy of power and land grabbing. The piece of land with china is matter of dispute. China think about her country only. Over the years, violence has shown a Phenomenal growth. It has affected almost every Indian. over the decades , the situation has taken a turn for the worse. India is in danger. Govt is answerable to none. Vital intelligence network can only help in combating the challenges posed by china. It must leave no stone unturned to check the intention of china. It is high time to change foreign policy in the light of the present situation with China. While China continues to be in the illegal possession of a part of Kashmir and not surrendered the territories it occupied in the large scale military offensive it launched on India in 1962 and there after. We must rember that preparedness for war is the best security for peace. We must remain prepared for war in the interest of our security and territorial independence Ever-growing threats from China being nuclear power need re-look to amend foreign
