CHOICES: As I sit beside the stream And watch it’s gentle flow I contemplate the life I’ve lived And wonder next! where will I go There’s many paths to choose from And none are wrong nor right It comes down to my choices learning for me! which choice is right Not all decisions are my own I can’t control them all Sometimes I have to stand back And wait for how the cards might fall I’ve learnt a lot these past ten months From someone I love so dear He said you fight for number one And Embrace life without fear He told me hold your head up high Don’t show pain! to who’s hurt you Just keep that smile upon your face And use strength to guide you through Sometimes I have no problem And can use my strength with ease But other times I crumble And fall weakly too my knees Our Lives are full of lessons and some of them are rough mistakes are part of living it’s not repeating them that’s tough I’m ready for my new journey now and what lies ahead will be cause life has rolled a brand new dice my future now is up to me written by Mandi Reddan copyright 20/08/2013 all rights reserved.
