CHRIST JESUS , KING OF THE WORLD – CENTER OF THE UNIVERSE : A COLONY OF CHRISTIANS ……..HE MAKES US CHEERFUL GIVERS……..and that MAKES THE WORLD GO ROUND AND EQUAL……(PART SIX)………………ONCE THE WIDOW GAVE HER LAST….IT GAVE JESUS A TEACHABLE MOMENT….to HELP us know, WHEN WE GIVE WHAT LITTLE WE HAVE….EVEN OUR LAST….HE MULTIPLIES US…FIRST WITH USING OUR EXAMPLE to teach OTHERS……………………..ISN ‘T THE WIDOW’S MITE, A LEGENDARY ACT OF SACRIFICE AND A LEGENDARY, TRUE BIBLE STORY? THE WIDOW didn’t TEACH no VERBAL LESSONS……HER ACTIONS OF TRUE FAITH TEACHES US…………….. ……..THE WIDOW’S MITE….AND BARNABAS………………..(HOW DARE you think or ACCUSE JESUS of letting a POOR WIDOW DIE.) …………………have SOME FAITH IN YOUR LORD, AND HIS COMPASSION , ENCOURAGEMENT to the GRIEVING PEOPLE who GIVE…………their ALL……little or LOT………………… ………GOD SPEAKS LIFE OVER US…………..even when satan has appointed us for death…………. …………..(2nd Corinthians 9: 6) 6Now this I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver…… …….JESUS WATCHES ME, YOU, US AS INDIVIDUALS AND A BODY OF BELIEVERS………….HE KNOWS OUR HEARTS…….BUT OUR ACTIONS ALSO REVEAL OUR HEARTS…MORE THAN OUR WORDS. HE watched in the TEMPLE people giving. WE think GOD doesn’t pay attention to WHAT WE GIVE to HIS KINGDOM….but HE DOES…………it’s our FUTURE BLESSING………whether it’s a LITTLE or a LOT….BARNABAS HAD A LOT…..we’ll look at it. MAYBE not a lot of ANOINTING….but HE traded what he had MATERIALLY……….and JESUS SAW it from heaven, and HE was COUNTED AS AN APOSTLE, with GREAT ANOINTING, along with people like PAUL……….HE GAVE…WHAT HE HAD. HE DIDN’T RESERVE…..but first…..SOMEONE ELSE GAVE JUST AS MUCH…….a poor WIDOW…………. ………. (ST. LUKE 12: 41-44) ………….41 ¶ And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much. 42 And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing. 43 And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury: 44 for all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living. ………..NOW STOP IT…….IF YOU KNOW JESUS………………….YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENED NEXT WHEN SHE WALKED out of that church. IF YOU DON’T KNOW JESUS………….you would think JESUS let her walk out of there and go die…………………………..YOU SHOULD be ashamed of YOURSELF, if you think that. WHEN JESUS LOOKS, AND SEES YOUR HEART, AND SEE YOUR HANDS line up with your HEART………..HE will bless YOU BACK, 30,60, 100 fold. IT’S A KINGDOM PRINCIPLE, in this life, AND in the one to come. HE SAID IT…………….the APOSTLES SAID, “LORD WE HAVE LEFT ALL FOR YOU.” In other words, they SACRIFICED the best they could, SMALL or GREAT. JESUS said to them and us,………..LOOK! …. (ST. Mark 29: 30-31) ………………29Jesus said, Truly I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or farms, for My sake and for the gospels sake, 30but that he will receive a hundred times as much now in the present age, houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and farms, along with persecutions; and in the age to come, eternal life. 31But many who are first will be last, and the last, first. THAT IS A PROMISE………… ……… GOD is not just a HEAVENLY GOD…but A GOD who BLESSES US ON EARTH……………but SOMETIMES we simply don’t give what we have. IT TAKES FAITH…….to GIVE….ESPECIALLY when we don’t have much…….BUT when we give the little we can…..GOD CHANGES it……TO FIRST SPIRITUAL, and then ALSO NATURAL…………..so YOU and I WHO KNOW JESUS….knows MONEY is not a PROBLEM for JESUS…..TO GET AND GIVE…..TO COMMAND ohers to GIVE……….JESUS healed people’s family and servants WHO BUILT TEMPLES. They were RICH. JESUS helped ….ALL rich and POOR…..so JESUS quietly watched that WOMAN walk out………TO DIE…..and FIRST………..HE put her IMAGE in the bible……………..THAT IS RICH…when JESUS watches us give……POSSESIONS, FAMILY, FRIENDS……to HIM………………what does HE DO? TELL ME …PLEASE…..if YOU KNOW JESUS……….look….THE LITTLE BOY gave five fishes and two loaves….TELL ME PLEASE…………what did JESUS DO? HE MULTIPLIED THOSE FISHES AND LOAVES to feed FIVE THOUSAND……….THE little BOY GAVE WHAT HE HAD…………..and JESUS MULTIPLIED IT FOR THE CROWD, then they COLLECTED UP 12 BASKETS AND MORE FISH…………………THAT LITTLE boy…..TOOK HOME LEFT OVERS….because HE GAVE. So IF YOU KNOW JESUS…………you know NOT only did HE PROCLAIM her as an EXAMPLE….HE SAID A PRAYER AND COMMANDED THE ANGELS to take CARE OF THAT WIDOW……………………WE ALSO KNOW JESUS and the APOSTLES HAD A BAG FULL OF MONEY………so WHY would JESUS let that WIDOW GIVE HER LAST…..and not give back to her, 30,60, 100 fold. ………….Elijah asked a widow, “Please FEED me. “ She said, “ALL I HAVE IS A LITTLE FOR ME AND MY SON to eat and die.” ELIJAH….SELFISHLY (not at all. HE didn’t have food, but HE had ANOINTING FROM GOD TO BLESS HER! ) HE ASKED, “ FEED ME FIRST”….she DID, and the OIL AND DOUGH she had….DIDN’T RUN OUT …………..LOOK! ……………… ………………..(1rst Kings 17: 12-14) 12But she said, As the LORD your God lives, I have no bread, only a handful of flour in the bowl and a little oil in the jar; and behold, I am gathering a few sticks that I may go in and prepare for me and my son, that we may eat it and die. 13Then Elijah said to her, Do not fear; go, do as you have said, but make me a little bread cake from it first and bring it out to me, and afterward you may make one for yourself and for your son. 14For thus says the LORD God of Israel, The bowl of flour shall not be exhausted, nor shall the jar of oil be empty, until the day that the LORD sends rain on the face of the earth.…………… ………some DON’T need MONEY back………….SOME NEED HEALING, OR ANOINTING OR SOMETHING bought to LIFE…………..JESUS saw a widow whose SON had died. THEY WERE CARRYING the young man to be buried……………DO YOU KNOW JESUS? A MAN OF COMPASSION AND ENCOURAGEMENT to the GRIEVING…………..TELL ME what HE DID…..LOOK! (ST. LUKE 7: 11-17) [11] Soon afterward, Jesus went to a town called Nain, and his disciples and a large crowd went along with him. [12] As he approached the town gate, a dead person was being carried out -- the only son of his mother, and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the town was with her. [13] When the Lord saw her, his heart went out to her and he said, Dont cry. [14] Then he went up and touched the coffin, and those carrying it stood still. He said, Young man, I say to you, get up! [15] The dead man sat up and began to talk, and Jesus gave him back to his mother. …………………………………………………GOD LOVES US WHEN WE GIVE WHAT WE HAVE, SMALL OR GREAT…………….NEXT MESSAGE….Barnabas gives all, and the CHURCH gives all…..and ALL THINGS ARE EQUAL…………………….
