CHRISTIAN FRIENDS PLEASE READ: From my Great friend and Missionary to the Middle East, Terry McIntosh; Look what I found. Satire from the Devil’s toolbox: Boy, we need more finances to get our job done. Lets think of a way to sell some books and make a lot of money. Ah, yes, the Blood Moon theory will be something that Christians will eat up, and buy, buy, buy. Never mind that our previous prophetic warnings came to naught. Christians are very forgiving, so we can get away with this. To make it work, well have to twist some facts, though. Very few will ever bother to check out the facts, and that trusting nature is a license for us to steal. The name “Blood Moons” is very catchy, much better than what it really is, a lunar eclipse. Hmmm. Lets do this - Never mind that the majority of our “blood moons” are NOT tied to any significant event. There have been total lunar eclipses on Jewish feast periods several times in the past without anything substantial happening. We can convince Christians that something must have occurred, even if it didnt. It wont be hard to make this work if we tie this into their golden calf, Israel. ANYTHING that promises false hope and creates expectations of grandeur revolving around the secular state of Israel will be readily embraced and promoted. Some of ‘em will tie it to that comical rapture theory pulled off by others years ago. Others will look for Israel to arise as the world’s dominate force to be obeyed. Man, listen to that cash register dinging! About Israel - lets start with its birth in 1948. This will bring in some quick cash with just a small tweak of the facts. The tetrad linked to the creation of the state of Israel did not actually begin until after the event had transpired. The creation of the state of Israel occurred in May 1948 while the first total lunar eclipse of the tetrad did not begin until April 1949. This BIG FACT undermines the idea that tetrads are meant to be a divine warning sign since a warning sign is supposed to occur BEFORE an event transpires-not AFTER an event transpires. We’ll have to “extend” a few other dates and events the same way to make it work; same for the Spanish Inquisition It’s better not to address it than try to convince everybody that God’s prophecies are always one year or so later than expected. That would impact our financial empire negatively, and only a few will catch it anyway. After that, our money’s in the bank and no refunds will be given. Rev 6:12-13 poses a real problem, but we can be sure that Christians won’t read it for themselves. You know what I’m talking about, it says, “ And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.” Let’s not mention that the stars must fall from heaven to make this a Bible prophesied event. Otherwise, some things did happen in Israel in 1967, so we can easily tie that into our theory. You remember that six day war thing in ’67, well, that will work. We can always find an event and claim that it is the result of a blood moon. Surely you remember when the shuttle spaceship exploded upon re-entry in 2003. It disintegrated over Palestine, Texas, and you might recall how many overzealous Christians claimed that was a sign confirming that God was going to destroy the state of Palestine. Or beginning of the millennial 2000. That’s the kind of thinking that we can capture to make almost any substantial event credible. It will serve us handsomely if anything happens prior, during, or after each lunar eclipse, and considering prevailing circumstances in the Middle East, we can expect SOMETHING to happen, anything will do. Christians want to believe such things, and we can lead them there rather easily. It’ll be a breeze to find those with faith in our deception, and they’ll run with it. We’ll have to let them share in the profits, LoL! It’s good for us that not a lot of Christians have a solid understanding of Bible prophecy. Most of them would not recognize a true prophet if they met one. Ah, yes, if they only knew to test the spirits, we would likely get caught. The heavenly signs described in Joel and in Acts are warning signs BEFORE something transpires. Don’t they know what BEFORE means? But don’t worry, very few will investigate our claim. We won’t sell everybody a book, but we will sell a lot of ‘em, enough to buy that jet plane we been talking about. All we have to do is forcibly proclaim it, and it will work its way into the Christian consciousness. Yes, you can buy that new house you been eying, too – how many does that make now? We can use Christian scriptures to cement our make believe “theory.” We can cite Matthew 24:29 and Joel 2:30-31 as our source of validity. These verses describe the signs in the heavens, including a darkening sun and moon. This might stir up some opposition by a few who know their Bible, though, but again, just a few have ever read it. They depend on other people to instruct them. This is not only easy, it’s fun making fools out of trusting Christians. We don’t have to demonstrate consistory expertise in understanding Bible prophecy. We’ll just take a few verses completely out of context to push a theory which has a lot of flaws even without taking scripture into account. Christ predicted several other events would occur before the appearance of the changed moon of prophecy. No matter, it’s an over the head thing for most of ‘em. Matthew 24:29 states that the changes in the moon of prophecy will occur “immediately after the tribulation”. The reference to the “tribulation” here is the great tribulation as Christ had just described what the persecution of people will be like during the great tribulation in Matthew 24:21-28. Readers won’t connect that if we shout loud enough and wrap all this around Israel. We won’t be able to overcome another point of contention if they check it out, but they won’t, so it won’t matter again. Ching-Ching! It is problematic that not every total lunar eclipse of this upcoming tetrad will occur during a Jewish feast at the locations where it likely matters the most. Three out of Four of the upcoming total lunar eclipses during Jewish holiday periods wont even be visible to the Middle East, but that won’t matter to Western Christians, either. The Jewish feast of Sukkot will begin at sunset on October 8, 2014. Coincidentally, there will be a total lunar eclipse on October 8, 2014. However, the total lunar eclipse on October 8, 2014 will begin and conclude hours before sunset in most parts of the world, including in the Mideast. The lunar eclipse will begin about 10:25 AM UTC on October 8 or 12:25 PM local time in Israel and last for nearly an hour. People in the Middle East won’t even be able to see the total lunar eclipse when it does take place. Thus, the total lunar eclipse that theorists link to Sukkot in 2014 will be completed before Sukkot begins in Israel. In addition, the total lunar eclipse will be completed before Sukkot in the time zones west of Israel, including the time zones that encompass Europe and the United States. Hmmm. Could cost us a few sales, but not enough to worry about. Ah, no need to labor over this. Let’s put it out there and they’ll run with it. They’ll build more false hope on a bad foundation and chase it down to the bitter end, thereby neglecting the greater goals of Christ’s Kingdom. By the way, is it getting hotter down here?
