CINCINNATI - URGENT FOSTER NEEDED FOR NEGLECTED PIT BULL NEEDING SURGERY - PLEASE SHARE We are urgently looking for a foster home for this gorgeous blue Pittie, who is only a year old and has lived a very hard life. At some point, he was hit by a car, and treated by a vet who put a metal rod in his leg. Afterward, his family decided they no longer wanted to honor the commitment they made to him when they took him in, and he was dumped at a shelter. By that point, his ribs were showing, he was starving, and he was painfully limping because the rod that had been placed in his leg was so dislodged that it was actually beginning to poke through his skin, causing him severe pain. Through all his pain, this sweet-hearted Pittie was nothing but gentle kisses and tail wags. He loves children and is good with most other dogs. We do not know about small dogs or cats. What we DO know, is that to save his life and show him how a dog should truly be treated, we will need a committed foster home. We need for someone, just ONE person, to open up their home to this boy so that we can make sure his next years are 100 times better than his first. Be that one person. Won’t you help us help him? Our rescue provides all veterinary care, training, can provide food, and handles placement of animals in forever homes.
