**CITY CENTRE BLITZ** PC Siviter yesterday led an operation in the city centre to target complaints from members of the public, this was conducted with officers from the Special Constabulary, and our PCSOs. Twenty one tickets were issued in the city centre in relation to direct complaints from the public, seven intelligence reports were submitted in relation to some of our more serious offenders, and one stop search was conducted on a known shoplifter. Towards the end of the operation the officer stopped a vehicle on The Springs, the vehicle was found to be driven by someone with no insurance, and no driving licence. The vehicle was seized, and the driver reported for the offences. This operation will continue to run up until Christmas.
