CLOTHING INDUSTRY HEALTH CARE FUND (WESTERN CAPE) The Clothing Industry Health Care Fund is dedicated to optimising wellness within and in partnership with the Clothing Industry community. We work in partnership with health providers for the benefit of clothing workers and their families. Applications are invited for the following vacancies : HEAD OFFICE RECEPTIONIST • Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification • Minimum three years reception experience • Providing a support system to the Health Care Funds Head Office and 7 health centres at various sites - Professional telephone etiquette - Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook - Excellent planning and office administrative support skills - Independent performer and team player - Frontline reception services and dealing with queries to all walk in members - Fully billingual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a professional and friendly disposition Enquiries can be directed to Ms. Natalie George on 021 460 4121 DENTAL ASSISTANT / RECEPTIONIST • Minimum three years experience • Dental Assistant Diploma / Certificate • Registered with HPCSA • General office administration including computer literacy • Excellent communication skills Enquiries can be directed to Dr. Ismail Dhansay on 021 460 4117 or 460 4118 OPTICAL ASSISTANT / RECEPTIONIST • Completed Optical Assistant course at an accredited institution • 2 years as a qualified Optical Assistant or 4 years experience working as an Optical Assistant/Receptionist • The ability to use a tonometer and autorefractor • Reception experience in an Optical environment • Numeracy skills, experience in handling and reconciling cash • Computer Literate (MS Word, Excel and Outlook) • Excellent communication skills Enquiries can be directed to Sr. Ursula Gates on 021 460 4150 or 460 4153 SOCIAL WORKER • Registered with the SACSSP to practice • Minimum of 5 years working experience in a relevant setting • Valid drivers licence Key capacities required: -Client assessment, diagnosis and treatment plan - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Good organisational skills - Have basic knowledge of health matters - Plan and organize psycho-educational programmes - Develop pamphlets - Computer literacy (MS Office at a minimum) Enquiries can be directed to Ms. Leslin Augustine on 021 460 4122 The fund offers a competitive remuneration cost to company package and working in a dynamic organisational environment.
