CLOVER IS ADOPTED!!!!, a short haired brown tabby that we have had for almost 4 years. Thank you to Ashley for opening your heart and home to our sweet girl. Thanks also go to Caroline and her crew of photo helpers for posting Clovers picture so Ashley could see her on line. This is why I love rescue. This is proof why you can never feel its acceptable to euthanize a healthy adoptable pet. There is a family out there to adopt the pet, you just need to be able to care for the pet until the soulmates meet. This is why we so desperately need Dollar A Day donors. Clover came to us almost 4 years ago with a litter of kittens. She had been rescued by a wonderful woman who became overwhelmed when she was diagnosed with cancer. The Havens cost to give Clover the time she needed to be adopted was about $2500 and her adoption fee, as with all of our senior kitties was $50...Donors saved her life and now she will get to live happily every after-how wonderful is that? IT TAKES A VILLAGE TO SAVE A CAT! THANK YOU TO EVERYONE ALONG THE WAY WHO WORKED TO MAKE CLOVER AVAILABLE TO BE ADOPTED BY ASHLEY. AND THEY LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER!!! YEAH TEAM HAVEN!!!
