CMC just released a statement on the death of Clifton Wright: It is with deep sadness that we report that our fellow employee, Clifton Wright, passed away today, August 6. Clifton was injured on Sunday, August 3 during a ladle spill in the melt shop at CMC Steel Texas in Seguin, Texas. On behalf of the Commercial Metals Company family, I extend our prayers and express our sincere condolences to Clifton Wright’s family, friends and loved ones,” said Tracy Porter, Sr. Vice President and President of CMC’s Americas Division.
