He was surrendered to the shelter with his friend Blackie. Apparently the owner is moving so the dogs get left behind at the shelter. Owner reports he is good with kids. In my opinion, Brownie is a very sweet and friendly guy who loves attention. He appears to be roughly 35lbs. Would be a good family companion. Also does well with his kennel mates (including his pal Brownie). Being a hound, a home with a fenced in yard or a family willing to take on leash walks would be best.
