COLDER WEATHER THAN LAST WEEK COMING UP [[PLEASE SHARE]] Ive just updated the temperature forecasts on the mobile site and its not looking good for those of you that dont like the cold. Weve got another cold snap starting tomorrow (Sunday) night and all signs are pointing towards it being EVEN COLDER than it was last week with a high pressure system expected to sit over QLD in just the right spot to cause a very frosty week for all of Central QLD. This cold snap is expected to last from Sunday night (6th July) until Wednesday morning (9th July), then it is expected to be slightly warmer Thursday morning before ANOTHER cold snap starts on Thursday night (10th July) and continues for next weekend. The one thing that stopped it from getting colder last week was that we had overnight breeze keeping the temperatures up by a couple of degrees. This week the high pressure system will cause calm conditions overnight allowing the temperatures to drop those few degrees they couldnt last week. Widespread frost should be expected throughout the majority of the district on Tuesday morning. If you got frost last week, youll definitely see more this week. SO HOW COLD? Here are my predictions. These can also be found on my web app at aspgweather/mobile/ MONDAY: Bowen: 7°C Collinsville: 2°C Proserpine: 3°C Mackay: 5°C Sarina: 4°C Pioneer valley: 3°C Eungella: -2°C Nebo: 3°C Moranbah: 3°C Dysart: 3°C Clermont: -1°C Emerald: 4°C Rockhampton: 5°C St Lawrence: 5°C TUESDAY: Bowen: 5°C Collinsville: 0°C Proserpine: 1°C Mackay: 3°C Sarina: 2°C Pioneer valley: 1°C Eungella: -4°C Nebo: 1°C Moranbah: -1°C Dysart: 0°C Clermont: -3°C Emerald: 1°C Rockhampton: 2°C St Lawrence: 3°C WEDNESDAY: Bowen: 8°C Collinsville: 3°C Proserpine: 3°C Mackay: 6°C Sarina: 4°C Pioneer valley: 4°C Eungella: -2°C Nebo: 3°C Moranbah: 2°C Dysart: 3°C Clermont: 0°C Emerald: 4°C Rockhampton: 4°C St Lawrence: 5°C
