COLLEGE FOOTBALL...EVERYBODY GET PAID EXCEPT BLACK BOYS The NCAA profited $32 million in the 2012-2013 fiscal year, according to a copy of their latest federal tax return. The head of this amatuer association, Mark Emmert received a five percent increase on his base salary, from $1.2 million to $1.7 million. Did you know that it is illegal for a college football coach to loan a player $100? Also surpassing a million dollars in his annual salary was Jim Isch, chief operating officer, at $1.013 million. Did you know that it is illegal for any one in a college athletic department to give gas money to a player? Donald Remy, chief legal counsel and executive vice president, was the organizations third-highest-paid official, making. $619,663. Did you know that many players at some SEC schools cant afford to participate in any of the schools social functions because of the cost? The NCAA generated $874 million in revenue, an increase of four percent from the 2011-2012 fiscal year, and spent $842 million, a 6.4 percent increase. The NCAA distributed $546 million to its member schools, a new record. The NCAAs total compensation and benefits reached $54.3 million in the 2012-2013 fiscal year, USA Today reported, which was a nine percent increase from the previous year. Nick Saban will make $6.9 million this year in salary. KevinSumlin will make $5 million. Les Miles will make $4.3 million. Steve Spurrier will make $4 million. Gus Malzahn will make $3.85 million. Bret Bielema will make $3.2 million. Mark Richt will make $3.2 million. Dan Mullen will make $2.65 million Heisman Trophy winner Jamis Winston and Georgia player Todd Gurley are under investigation for selling their autograph. One does not need to be Sarah Palin to see the complete picture on what is happening in major college sports. Apparently the only people who are allowed to profit from this plantation mentality dont look like Jameis Winston or Todd Gurley. The time is past for parents to stop this exploitation and take control of their children future. Why should any institution or any coach benefit financially from your childs athletic ability? Personally I finding it outrageous that some poor Black boys barely have the proper clothing to wear to social functions while everyone in the athletic department are well paid people who do not look like them. Calling the NCAA and college football slavery is an insult to the word exploitation.
