COLUMBIA HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 1979 MULTI-YEAR REUNION NEWS UPDATE Thank you all for the immediate flood of response to my earlier posted inquiry of interest. Gus and I got off to a very late start and ambitiously tried for Thanksgiving weekend plans. Due to our late beginning, conflicts and some challenges, weve decided to step back and plan appropriately, rather than just throwing something together. So Thanksgiving weekend is off, and we are sorry for that. We will continue to seek a venue that is worthy of our class celebration, and are looking at dates from late March into April next year. The conflicts were around venues that were fully booked for the weekend in our original plans, and the challenges were an already planned Columbia Class of 1984 reunion, and more important, a Brendan Tevlin benefit concert hosted by his family and friends on Thanksgiving weekend. Not that it would, but we feel that Brendans event, should not suffer from our celebration, and suggest that if you or your family are visiting home for the holiday, and arent attending 1984s reunion, please support the Tevlin family, their son, and their cause. I will continue to post updates to the plans that Gus and I are making and also will be looking to recruit assistance throughout the planning process after a date and venue are booked.
