COME OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. Matthew 14:29 Naturally or ordinarily we know that Peter was safer in the boat than in the water. But what if something happened to the boat? What if something should happen to the place where you are or the natural things you trust the most? Yes storms could have come against the boat and drowned it with everything it in. What am I implying here? The boat is safer to some extent. It is safe with conditions. Your comfort zone can be ruined at any time! You are not safe. You have to take a step of faith out of your comfort zone. Similarly there are certain things we trust with our lives. There are such things that we have more faith in than in anything else. We find comfort in them. Things that seem to have us even pay to provide refuge for us. Things we take serious. Yes those things that have gained our trust more than anything else. However even though we trust them that much, we also forget that they have limits. They do as much as they are limited to do. And unfortunately most of these things can disappoint us when we least expect it. But thank God Almighty for there is hope and here is hope: Supernaturally Peter was safer and sound in the water, you know why? because Jesus was there. Jesus was calling Him to a better place. He was calling him to abundance. You see Jesus is everything that every one of us need. It became safer in the water than in the boat because of Jesus. Storms obey Jesus. Every challenge in your life may ridicule you where you are right now but when you start to move into the presence of Jesus they become more ridiculed. My friend you need Jesus. You might be there asking yourself as to why you should leave the place where you are to go to the where it is more dangerous than where you currently are, but let me say this to you, fear not for Jesus is already there. Jesus is more dangerous than anything you fear out there. Your breakthrough is where He calling you to. It is in your weakness that His strength is made perfect. Walk by faith not by sight. There is glory beyond trouble. Whatever you are worrying about is already dealt with. Move on and reach for great things in Him. Do not settle for less. Jesus is calling you to come where you cannot do anything by yourself; where He has your back. He has given you the grace. It is always good to be where He is. Where your treasure is, that is where your heart should be. Get out of that place where you are because it is too small for you. You cannot work with Him at ease in that small space. Go to a place where you can fly, cruise and be fully active at. The place where you are has given you so many reasons why you cannot do this and that, enough with the stories. Admit it, you are limited. You even believe that there are things you will never do even through God. That place has bound and won your faith. It is high time you moved out. Go where you can fully depend on God without any need of natural back up. Use your faith where you are supposed to use it. Stretch it, exercise it and allow it to grow bigger for great things that Jesus has in store for you. The right platform for your faith is in Jesus. Quit your own sources and make Jesus your only source today! EXTRACT FROM THIS BOOK
