SYNOPSIS OF MOVIE: A village performing group, called Evurori Multicultural Centre, strives to preserve their culture through music and drama. They have set up a cultural museum, in which they have put together a collection of traditional artifacts. They have always aspired to perform at national events or be discovered by talent seekers without success. They hear on radio about an up-coming competition in Nairobi. Their efforts to participate are fruitless and they never get to the audition level. The Nairobi-based Mwasanie Agency boss, Mr. Juma, refuses to enlist the group, even after a fact-finding mission by his Personal Assistant, Samantha, reveals the group has potential. It is a musical film, containing a love triangle and some rural courtship, culminating in a cultural wedding. The film ends happily, when Samantha enlists the group to perform abroad. This film is based on the true story of Evurori Multicultural Centre (located in Evurori Ward, Embu County). The actors are local people from the area.
