COMFORT CAMPAIGN: Meet Mango Moon. Shes 14. Her momma passed away and her son threw her outside to live in the back yard for almost 4 years. A neighbors company visiting one day saw Mango and convinced him to turn her over to rescue. When we picked her up in June, she was nothing but a bag of bones, full of worms and the biggest fleas I’ve ever seen on a dog! I sat up with her the first several nights holding her because I thought she was going to the Rainbow Bridge and I didnt want her to be alone. With TLC and an increased appetite (I fed her out of a large syringe for the first 2 months) shes a 100 times healthier. Right now shes a happy little thing. We just absolutely adore her! She lives for her ball, food, and the attention she receives. She’s a joy to anyone who meets her.
