COMFORT ZONE Comfort State of peace State of ease State of relaxation State of freedom State of having arrived! Maybe by efforts of parents Maybe by efforts of uncles Maybe of aunties and nieces We enjoy comfort zones Zones provided by others Zones we never sacrificed for We just savour in comfort zones After others have toiled and labored. Relaxing in the sweat of others Relaxing in the sacrifice of others Relaxing in the success of others Such comfort zones breed indolence Such comfort zones breed nonentities Such comfort zones breed lock of focus We dare not be in such comfort zones These are mere discomfort zones. Comfort zones are good If and only if we have worked for them If and only if we can justify our success If and only if God is at the root of it all If and only if we have made our sacrifices If and only if we have paid our dues.
