COMING FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 15: ERIC MWAMBA AT ZAM NEWSROOM This Congolese investigative journalist won international acclaim for, among other stories, his reports on the Ivorian cocoa mafia; the international trade in young African football players and, most recently, his deep-digging exposure of the system of corruption that reigns in the DRC. Mwambas work has been published in the DRC, Belgium, Germany, South Africa and the United States. He is now visiting the Netherlands to research a subject that is a tad unusual for him: the old Dutch tradition of Sinterklaas and his helper Black Pete. His story will be published in the November issue of The ZAM Chronicle. ZAM’s Investigative Editor Evelyn Groenink will briefly interview Mwamba about his latest assignment and will preview the Afrocartography production that will be on stage from 21h30.
