* COMMUNITY NOTICE ~ SAFETY & SECURITY AWARENESS * Dear Residents My tenant in Horseshoe Crescent woke in the early hours of Sunday morning after hearing a noise. After switching on a bedside light and having a brief look around the cottage, there was no evidence of any criminal activity. However, the next morning she found a piece of wire hanging from the lock of the front door. This now raises a security concern for all residents, so please be vigilant. We appeal to those who live in the CG2TA area to please consider joining the patrol group. Since its inception, patrolling has strangled crime due to visibility on the roads but we are needing more patrollers to fill in the vacant gaps. Crime is on the increase esp. in the Walmer, Charlo and Lorraine areas. Let’s keep the early “Christmas shoppers” away from OUR area. Keep well and keep safe Andrew Garner
