COMMUNITY RADIO - FOR THE COMMUNITY! 15 second year Flinders University Medical Students will be coming to the Barossa Valley, South Australia to engage the Community in the following Research Projects /Surveys - People aged over 65 are asked to complete a short 10 minute Survey which includes questions about food preferences & nutrition. Copies of this Survey can be found at the Tanunda Library, The Tanunda Medical Centre, Carers Link, Barossa Rex Centre, Angaston Medical Centre or the Flinders University Office, 23 Railway Terrace, Nuriootpa. There will also be a Focus Group for Carers, over 65s, aged care workers & students who are interested in attending a small group discussion & free cooking demonstrations at the Nuriootpa TAFE on Thursday Sept. 4th from 11am to 1pm. Health Screening - Free Health Checks will be offered at the Tanunda Rex Centre on Wednesday 3rd September from 8am to 2pm and 4pm to 6pm. Basic Life Support (CPR4Kids) will be taught at Light Pass Primary School (Tuesday 11am to 1pm) and at the Tanunda Primary School (Thursday 9am to 3.30pm).
