Wabara, Fabian Osuji along with SenatorsAbdulazeez Ibrahim, Emmanuel Okpede, BadamasiMaccido and Chris Adighije were manipulated in thescandal. All six were handed to ICPC for trial.Prosecution was ongoing till the end of the tenure2. Inspector-General of Police, Mr Tafa Balogun wasfired by the President when he was indicted by theEFCC for corruption to the tune of 13 billion. TheGovernment through the EFCC went ahead to prosecutehim, having him give up some properties worth 13billion and secured a six(6) month conviction againsthim.3. Governor Deprieye of Bayelsa was arrested inLondon in 2005 for money laundering. The Governmentensured that he was impeached on his escape from jail,and he was prosecuted for looting Bayelsa.
