COMPETITION 1) A competition for primary school and secondary school age children to design an A4 poster with a logo and catchy slogan encouraging dog owners of Whickham to clean up after their dog. Ideally in the next phase of the campaign we will approach the Council about using the winning entries in Whickham and fund raise for printing posters, car stickers etc. so the posters should include an eye catching logo that could, for example, be used as a car sticker. The winning primary school entry and the winning secondary school entry will be eligible to win a Dapper Dog Photo-Shoot for their dog worth £25, and hopefully more prizes to be announced shortly for runners up as the campaign gains momentum! This winners will be decided by a panel of dog loving judges. Entries must be submitted electronically as digital images, they can be scanned, photographed or digital photos of art work and must be submitted by midnight on the 31st March 2014. To be eligible to win a prize they must own a dog and live in Whickham. Poster entries can be uploaded by parents/guardians/teachers to this page or emailed to: whickhampickupthepoop@outlook.
