COMPLICATED Its hard to maintain a relationship. You have to love the other person always and always seems to be a long tiime , Mark said. Do you believe in a relationship? I asked. Ofcourse I do, its just that adjustment is not my thing , he said. As far as I know Mark, I was completely confident that he was used to adjustments and such a reply from him literally surprised me. Relationship is all about adjustments, man! The beautiful thing about that is - you never regret making those adjustments since they are made for that one person whom you care the most, I tried to convince him. What if you regret those adjustments? - the reply came as soon as i stopped talking, he didnt even need time to consume what I had just said. You better be single! I guess Its not in you - I saiid. True. But I do want to get committed, I dont want to end up alone in life - This time he took some time to say this. I was in no position to counter him anymore, I was not even interested in talking about this whole relationship stuff. Its complicated - He said after a long silence. Its not complicated. Its just that you want it to be complicated, You enjoy that its complicated status on facebook. You want it to be complicated. You want life to be complicated, because you never liked a simple life. I was sure that this one hit him hard. He wanted to say something, but failed to render whatever it was, as he was trying to digest what I had just said. Possessiveness, insecurity and trust issues are not the only problems that arise in a relationship, some just like it being complicated. I was not sure whether I was qualified enough to give him a relationship advice but I was sure that he needed one badly, all I could come up with was this : Get a life
