CONFESSIONS BASED ON REVELATION **Hbrw3v1(NKJV)> Therefore, holy Brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Christ Jesus.** Wen talkin abt confessions which means> speakin in conformity with the Word of God, its not mere positive talkin or a formula for gettin God do something. thats not what the word teaches. Confession is from the Greek word , Homologia and it means speakin the same thing in consent> agreement. it means to declare openly, by way of speaking out freely, your deep convictions based on what God has already said in the book. **Hbrws 13 vs 5-6> ...for he has said...So that we may boldly say...** So confession is the proclamation of that which God has already said: declaring words that are consistent with His provisions, plans, and purposes. Your confessions must be based on the revelation of the word of God. This isnt the same as the person who for example feels stomach pains and says,I dont have stomach pains.... thats not confession. The idea of confession is not that you deny the facts, or that you say, Im healed. so that youd be healed; NO. Rather, when you say, Im healed, its founded on the truth that you know from the word of God that you have the life of God in you!.You have the present hour consciousness that the same Spirit that raised up Christ from the dead, dwells in you, and vitalizes your mortal body everyday; therefore youre speaking on the basis of that revelation. We dont confess the word of God, so that something will happen, ; we speak the truth. We say, that which already belong to us, that thing will not be a thing that were trying to get, because it will already be belongin to us, present hour reality.
