CONGRATS, EBOCCAI IS 40. HURRAY! Precisely 40years ago, 13th October, the first set of students of Ebun Ogunyimika Comprehensive College, Atosun Idanre, Ondo State, Nigeria arrived the school to the waiting hands of the founder/Proprietor of the school, Late Hon. Ebun Ogunyimika and the pioneer principal, Late Hon. Prince Julius Adeusi. It was an epoch making event as the people of the host community – ATOSIN IDANRE in hundreds rolled out their drums singing, dancing and jubilating over the establishment of the college which came as the second of its kind in IDANRE KINGDOM, after Olofin (Anglican) Grammar School which was jointly established by the entire people of KINGDOM. The next day, the 14th October, the pioneering students resumed full academic work, with full Boarding facilities for both male and female. Today, the school has turned out hundreds of successful and distinguished men and women that could be found in almost all fields of human endeavours such as in Medicine, Engineering, Academics, Defence/Military, Security, Captains of Industries, Pastoral, Journalism/Communication, Justice Administration, to mention just a few. As I congratulate all the products and current students of the school on this auspicious occasion, I wish to use this medium to remind and enjoin all members of the Alumni Association of the College to attend the general meeting of the Association scheduled for Saturday, 15th day of November, 2014 at the College’s compound commencing from 11.00am.
