CONGRATULATIONS to Young Fathers /@Youngfathers for winning the £20,000 2014 Mercury Music Prize /@MercuryPrize for their album Dead. Hailing from Edinburgh, Scotland, Young Fathers is made up by Alloysious Massaquoi, originally from Liberia, Nigerian Kayus Bankole and G Hastings from north Edinburgh. Even though Dead was the second lowest selling album on the shortlist it still managed to beat 11 other albums from a wide range of music genres including LP1 by hot AltR&B artist of the moment FKA Twigs / @FKAtwigs.
