CONQUERING FEAR Christian Spiritual Stronghold So many people today are living less from God’s best because theyve allowed fear to get more from His time rather than worshiping God and accepting His blessings. Love allowed us to give, and when we are afraid, we tend to clench our fists and act selfishly. Fear can affect our self-discipline and self-control. It makes us panic and do things without thinking and consultation to God. It drives us away from the spirit of God and drowned in our worldly needs. When you are confident in God’s power and promises, nothing could stop you. But when FEAR CREEPS in, you hesitate. That is the perfect time, the enemy is waiting for and like a roaring lion, in your FEAR Satan will feast in your weakness. You’re not as strong as you were before. You feel powerless. You have to remember that fear is not from God. It’s a LIE from the enemy to paralyze us and steal our power.- “For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline” 2 Timothy 1:7 - Conquering fear starts with a choice to believe in God’s promises and redemption, then taking a step of faith to act on them. You have to step out from your fear weather it is health, financially or in anything; just step out of it today and draw a line between your fear and your faith; move yourself from the stronghold of Satan to the love of Christ. Only you can make that choice, not God. As you step out, God will be with you, you can confidently move forward into the abundant and blessed life.
