CONVERSATION BETWEEN MOM ND SON ABOUT LOVE SON: I dont understand life! MOM: whats wrong my son? SON: i think life is not fair. I have been searching for love but i dont seem to find it. I just want a beautiful lady that i can love thats all. MOM: it doesnt work that way. SON: what do you mean? MOM: my son,in every relationship to love is nothing,to be loved is something but to love and be loved is what matters most. SON: but mom am so lonely,i just want to fall in love with somebody. MOM: thats a big mistake most people make in life. Dont fall in love when you are lonely but fall in love when you are ready. SON: i have been waiting for love for a long time now and i ve been so patience,i think am ready. MOM: listen my son,patience is not about how long you can wait,its about how well you behave while waiting.You see my point? SON: yes,mom. So what should i do now. MOM: just be yourself,happy and take care of yourself. One day someone will find you interesting and fun to be with. SON: what if i find someone am so much in love with but my friends hate that person and say she is not the one for me? MOM: follow your heart and dont let your friends choose for you who to be with because it is you who will spend the rest of your life with that person. SON: but wont i lose my friends? MOM: a true friend will always find a reason to stay even if there are hundred reasons to walk away. SON: i think finding love is the hardest mission. MOM: no its not,love is like a treasure; it is hidden but it was meant to be found. It is found in places we least expect it to be. SON: Oh ok. MOM: dont say she is not my type just because of the way she looks or else you may one day end up misjudging someone who was meant to change your life. SON: tell me more... MOM: when looking for love,pay less attention to what your eyes see and to what your ears hear but trust and follow your heart. SON: but my eyes will tell me how pretty she is. MOM: beauty is important but its not the main thing. One day that pretty face will have wrinkles, Beauty fades with time but character flourishes with time. SON: there is this beautiful lady i have been ignoring,she is caring and a very good friend but each time she calls me i tell her am busy.i always think i will find a better lady than her. MOM: listen my son, one bird in your hand is better than ten birds that are flying. Dont ignore someone who loves you because in the end you will realise that you lost a diamond while you were busy collecting stones. My advice is take her and let her stay in your heart. SON: thanks alot mom. MOM:...and remember; to respect the old while you are young. To help the weak while you are strong. To confess the fault when you are wrong because one day in life you will be old, weak and wrong. God be with you always It is well with you
