COOKIE DOUGH UPDATE: After an exhausting day of logistics, international phone calls, countless texts & unexpected travel for many involved, Cookies husband Michael Chu is in Puerta Vallarta, at the hospital by his soul mates side. Doctors continue to tend to Cookie, who remains comatose & on life support, as Michael reported earlier on his personal Facebook. Any other reports -- & I have received a few -- are merely word of mouth accounts. It is unlikely they have come from the VERY small handful truly in the know here in Mexico. That includes Daft-Knee Gesundheit, Kim Burly, Turleen & me, who spent most of the day together here in the lobby awaiting Michaels arrival. Rob & Rob, owners of The Edge Bar, and two of Cookies long-time friends also visited. My friend Kirk is here now. Tonight The Edge will host Cookies Monster Show, which appears to be the place everyone still in the Bay Area will gather in community prayer. In her hospital bed, even in a coma, I know she would be humbled & overjoyed to find how loved & appreciated she is. For anyone else jumping the gun to gossip & announce the passing of Cookie, SHAME ON YOU! Dont self-aggrandize or try to feel relevant or important by spreading inaccurate information.
