Construction Skills Queensland assists the Queensland Building and Construction Industry by providing funding for training and skills development. Construction Skills Queensland funds a variety of programs to reduce the cost for participants or their employers. CORRSAFE has improved the skills of hundreds of workers in the Construction Industry through delivery of courses including, Enter & Work In Confined Spaces, Work Safely At Heights, Industry Supervisors, Licence To Operate Boom Type Elevating Work Platforms, Licence To Erect Alter & Dismantle Basic Scaffolding, Licence To Operate Vehicle Vehicle Loading Cranes, Licence To Operate Non Slew Mobile Cranes and others. CORRSAFE has been successful in our recent Tender with Construction Skills Queensland and can now offer a range of partially funded courses as shown below, subject to Construction Skills Queensland eligibility criteria. There is a 25 % cost to eligible candidates who attend and complete the course. 75% of the course cost is funded by Construction Skills Queensland. CORRSAFE will charge the full price if candidates do not attend or do not provide a replacement on the agreed commencement day. SHORT COURSE AVAILABLE These courses are available, in classroom, only. Check our Training Calendars for classes. They can be delivered throughout Queensland. Group bookings, 5 or more, are encouraged. Classes can then be delivered at your location. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA & ENROLLMENT Strict Eligibility Criteria apply. Participants must meet Construction Skills Queenslands eligibility criteria. You can also contact Construction Skills Queensland to check if in doubt. If you feel you meet these criteria, CORRSAFE has prepared an Eligibility Checklist, call us for a copy, which needs to be completed in full and accompany each individual’s course application. Participants are limited to no more than three short courses in the 2014 / 2015 contract period. If you feel you meet the criteria, please complete the Enrolment Form and the Eligibility Checklist and submit both to CORRSAFE by email at [email protected]. Please also provide evidence of employment status and occupation, e.g. Letter From Employer. Please note, on the enrolment form, strict identification requirements apply and you must provide copies of evidence of identity to qualify. Eligibility may extend to Health & Safety Advisors.
