CORRUPTION IN INDIAN RAILWAYS PLAYING WITH LIVES OF PASSENGERS One of our members travelling in 12012 & 12011 has repeatedly complained on the complaint book and sent SMS to the Executive Director (Tourism & Catering) on corruption playing with lives of passengers with no effect. The repeated complaints were made on 8-5-2013, 9-7-2013 & 27-8-2013 for the Curd being served as part of Dinner. The packed curd served is premixed with sugar and no has no batch no., date of manufacturing and details of manufacturer. The curd is only covered with the plastic lid and not even sealed to avoid any contamination. Just to favour R K caterers no action is being taken against the supplier. The catering team also belongs to the same group. The video of the Curd container is attached to the post for all to be beware. In breakfast the caterer has started serving nimbu pani in open glass where as the menu listed on the irctc/irctc2.html clearly requires that the fruit drink in tetra pack. Initially the pantry manager started arguing but when the complaint book was requisitioned he immediately served the JUMPIN. It is also important to note that the NIMBU PANI is being served with the tea/coffee. Taking Nimbu Pani with the tea or coffee can be dangerous and can cause health problems during the travel. In considerate of this it is the deliberate attempt to serve the NIMBU PANI as the caterer saves on the tea/coffee to be served. The same caterer is consistently even after repeated complaints serves tea with single sugar pouch and tea bag where as it is mandatory to serve with the two tea bags and two sugar pouches.
