COSTS: Currently there are two individuals/businesses that have an expressed an interest to help with materials and/or labor for installing the first two Little Free Libraries! For the other libraries to be installed we may need to consider the costs. There are the options of having the libraries built or buying from the official website. WEBSITE: Official website costs depend on model but around $250 and then about $65 for shipping. Additional costs are the materials for the post for the library to be installed on (similar to what a mailbox would need 4x4,etc). Costs for installer as well. HAVE LIBRARIES BUILT: To have a box built will need to cost out the materials and labor and also the additional costs for the post and installer. REGISTRATION: if desired the libraries can be officially registered on the littlefreelibrary.org website and map for a one time fee of $34.95 each. (This can be done whether built ourselves or bought). HELP?: The assistance needed at the moment with the costs is pricing. We will need a plan in place in order to get HOA Board approval and then to fundraise if materials and labor are not volunteered.
