COUGARS WIN!!!!! In a defensive battle the Cougars pulled out a 7-6 win over Park View (Sterling) to move to 2-0 on the year. Jonathan Bunner hit Kevin Sookdeo for a TD in the first quarter and Park View scored on a blocked punt late in the second quarter but missed the extra point. Park View threatened to score in the second half but the Cougars played outstanding team defense to turn away any Patriot threat. The final Patriot drive ended when Sr Drew Lewis intercepted the Patriot QB with under a minute to play and the Cougars took a knee to escape with the win.
