COULD THIS BE WORLD WAR III? Take note that this was reported on the PBS News Hour on March 8th, 2014 and again on the McLaughlin Group on PBS on Saturday March 15, 2014 (excerpt also posted on the Atlantic Council web site): Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairmen, General Matin Dempsey, said if the Russians move military in to Eastern Ukraine that would pose a significant risk ot NATO allies in Eastern Europe and the Balkans and that would cause the USA to respond militarily. Folks, if that happens,then its World war 3, no doubt about it. It would involve the whole of Europe an thee USA and al our allies in the Pacific who also have treaty obligations to us and select other European countries that an attack on one is an attack on all. It would also raise the risks exponentially for a nuclear response. Thats just the way it is and it not only is not farfetched to think this could happen but rather farfetched to presume it wouldnt happen under such circumstances. Personally, I think General Dempsey, although he also said that he told this to all our NATO allies, is nonetheless drawing yet another imaginary red line for Obama. I also think Russia will call his bluff. But if Genral Dempsey was not bluffing you may not hear from me again when it happens. You see I live outside of Killeen, Texas which is adjacent to Fort Hood, Texas, the largest military installation in the free world and it contains one-fifth of our nations entire ground combat power. Doubtlessly, we would be a prime NUC target for Russia. Been nice knowing ya folks. P.S. Just so you know and understand, this is fact checked. It is not joke. It is very real. hence, I hope you will agree that this needs to be spread far and wide until it goes viral because their has been very little reporting on tis outside of the PBS - and that includes FOX News which is surprising.
