COUNTRY MUSIC NEWS 9/26 JASON ALDEAN is officially engaged to Brittany Kerr. TMZ reports Jason popped the question while touring the West Coast. Rumor has it that he arranged a very private tour to be held at the San Diego Zoo on Wednesday. By marrying Brittany, Jason will be turning the former mistress that caused his first marriage to end into the future wife of his second marriage. … The private relationship between then-married Jason and Brittany was first revealed to the world back in 2012 when a series of pictures of the couple making out surfaced online. At the time, 37-year old Jason was quick to apologize for his irresponsible actions, stating that he had “too much to drink” and “screwed up” that night. Jason later decided to divorce his then-wife, high school sweetheart and the mother of his two daughters, Jessica Ussery, and started officially dating Brittany shortly thereafter. … Although it has been nearly two years since that happened, many fans and critics of Jason are still hurt and feel betrayed by the country music star. CARRIE UNDERWOOD will make an announcement this morning (Friday) on The Today Show. It’s believed that announcement will be about new music.
