COUNTY CONTRACT: As part of the contract with the county, Clermont to the Rescue is required to do the following: The Society agrees to perform all of the functions required to be performed by the Board under Ohio Revised Code 995.01 through 995.26 (inclusive), 995.29 and 99.51. The Society will provide other services including dog disposal. Paragraph 5. The Society will maintain a minimum staffing level of 1 shelter director, 1 chief dog warden, 2 deputy dog wardens and an appropriate number of kennel staff, office staff, and veterinary technician services to ensure that the Society is fulfilling the duties that are required of the Board pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Chapter 955, that the dogs are treated humanely, that UNCLAIMED AND UNADOPTABLE DOGS ARE DISPOSED OF HUMANELY AND RESPECTFULLY, and that the Dog Shelter is operated in a manner to MINIMIZE the euthanasia rate of dogs and the spread of dog disease.
