Nash Rawiller had his licence to ride in races suspended for a period to commence at midnight November 9th and to expire at midnight November 21st, a total of fourteen race meetings (four metropolitan and ten provincial) and is to be served cumulatively with a suspension he incurred in Hong Kong. In assessing penalty Stewards took into account the incident was in the mid-range. The Cleaner - raced wide in the early stages until going forward and leading approaching the 1200m. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant findings however the RV veterinary surgeon has recommended a follow up examination with a veterinary clearance prior to racing again. Sweynesse - approaching the finishing line was disappointed for clear running. Royal Descent - a post race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be lame in the off foreleg and will require a veterinary clearance prior to racing again. Almalad - a post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.
