. CRAWFORD COUNTY DOG NEEDS YOUR HELP: Crawford County Indiana dog found in creek today near Old Town in Marengo, unable to stand. County employees rescued her and discovered she couldnt walk. We made arrangements for Chief of Police Ray Saylor to transport the dog, we are temporarily calling Millie, for veterinary care. X-rays revealed both of her hips are out of socket and she is anemic. She might have been hit by a car and knocked into the creek. Millies hip sockets will be repaired one at a time. Southern Indiana Animal Rescue will be assisting Millie and providing a place for her to stay.
