CRIME ALERT: Off CAMPUS – UNARMED ROBBERY August 20, 2013 Towson University Police Department 410-704-4444 On August 20, 2013, Towson University Police were made aware of an unarmed strong-arm robbery that occurred on York Rd near Cross Campus Dr at about 9:00 pm. Two female juveniles were walking southbound on York Rd when two subjects approached them from behind. One subject grabbed one of the victims and reached into her pocket removing her cellular phone. Both subjects ran south on York Rd. No weapon was displayed and no injuries were reported. Suspect description; Suspect 1: African American Male, 17-18 wearing a purple shirt and white shorts Suspect 2: African American Male, 17-18 wearing a dark shirt and dark pants Anyone who witnessed the crime or has information about it is asked to contact the Towson University Police Department at 410-704-2134 or The Baltimore County Police Department 410-887-2361.
